Our collective impact framework is being lead by the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance and sponsored by Novo Nordisk.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County
Brings the “Triple Play: Eat Right, Live Right & Move Right” curriculum to after-school programs, and works with students to create cookbooks filled with healthy recipes.
Provides short, interactive videos and computer games to teach kids about movement and mindfulness, and to help get them exercising.
Isles works directly with students in the classroom, teaching hands-on lessons about gardening, cooking and nutrition.
New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids
Implementing policy, systems and environmental changes to help families and children live healthier lives.
The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)
Brings the “SNACK 2.0: Smart Nutrition and Collaborating for Kids” project to provide physical activity lessons during recess and measure vital statistics.
The Food Trust
Expands the Healthy Corner Store Initiative to work with local vendors to increase the overall availability and marketing of healthy, affordable foods and beverages, and to introduce coupon incentives and wellness resources.
Trenton Public School District
A comprehensive public school district serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade from Trenton's Mercer County.
Sponsors the “Coordinated Approach to Child Health” (CATCH) program, including monthly family nights and an after-school Kids Club program to teach children that eating healthy and being active can be fun.
Wellness In The Schools
Wellness In The Schools partners with the school community to inspire healthy eating as a way of life. WITS provides training to school food service staff along with menu and recipe suggestions to increase healthy food options in cafeterias. In the classrooms WITS engages students through nutrition education activities.
READY, SET, HEALTHY! is a Novo Nordisk sponsored program, with direction and technical assistance provided by the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance.
